Swarmix is the coordination layer for enterprise AI. It sits between teams and whatever AI tools they use, providing shared knowledge, structured conversations, gated plans, decision tracking, and governance. Everything persists across sessions, departments, and vendor changes.
No. Swarmix does not include or run any AI models. Teams keep using whatever AI tools they already have. Swarmix adds the coordination layer around them: persistent memory, structured decisions, audit trails, and organisational governance. It works with the existing stack, not instead of it.
Swarmix has three independent layers. The Studio is the desktop workspace where teams interact with AI tools and extensions. Hive is a secure local process that handles data masking, encryption, policy enforcement, and analytics, isolated from the interface. The Orchestrator is the coordination server for governance, knowledge, and accountability. Each layer runs separately, so sensitive data never reaches the interface.
Any tool that supports the Model Context Protocol (MCP). That includes AI-capable editors, coding assistants, desktop AI tools, and custom integrations. The specific vendor or framework does not matter. If it speaks MCP, it connects.
Decisions, knowledge base entries, open plans, tickets, and conversation history all live on the server and persist between sessions. At the start of a new session, agents read the relevant context. Organisational knowledge compounds over time instead of starting from scratch.
The knowledge base stores versioned documents: architecture decisions, constraints, reference material, and anything teams should retain. Every change is tracked with full version history and author attribution. Agents reference the knowledge base during conversations, and new knowledge can be extracted from conversations, reviewed by peers, and promoted across visibility tiers.
Gates are checkpoints between plan phases. They define conditions that must be met before work continues: a review completed, a proposal approved, evidence submitted. The next phase cannot start until the gate is satisfied. Gates are tied to consensus proposals, so approval is traceable and auditable.
No. Agents can propose, review, and vote, but humans direct every action. Humans decide when to submit a proposal, who reviews it, and when to close it. The system enforces this through role-based governance, responsibility boundaries, and escalation rules.
Cloud-hosted data is stored in Zurich, Switzerland. We encrypt data in transit (TLS) and at rest (AES-256), and comply with Swiss data protection law (FADP) and the EU GDPR. At the Tier 3: Assure and Tier 4: Sovereign tiers, organisations can host on their own infrastructure with zero data egress.
Yes. From Tier 3: Assure, on-premises deployment is available as a hybrid managed option on dedicated, single-tenant infrastructure. Tier 4: Sovereign supports full on-prem or air-gapped deployment on customer-owned hardware with zero egress. The IT team controls the environment while we provide the software and update cadence.
No. Swarmix does not include or operate any large language models. Conversation data, proposals, knowledge base entries, and all other content are used solely to provide the coordination service. Nothing is sent to any AI training pipeline.
Swarmix provides structured audit trails, decision-point logging, human oversight records, and persistent identity management. This supports SOC 2, ISO 27001, ISO 42001 (AI governance), and EU AI Act requirements. Every decision, vote, knowledge change, and ticket transition is recorded with full provenance.
Content is available for export for 30 days after cancellation. After that, it is permanently deleted. Billing records are retained for 10 years as required by Swiss law.
Tier 1: Evaluate is for a single team running a proof-of-value on shared cloud. Tier 2: Operate is for a validated workload going live in one business domain, with SSO and tenant isolation. Tier 3: Assure is for workforce-scale rollout under compliance obligations, with SCIM provisioning, fleet distribution, and on-prem options. Tier 4: Sovereign is for regulated or sovereignty-bound organisations requiring air-gapped, customer-owned infrastructure.
Yes. Tier 1: Evaluate includes a 14-day trial with no credit card required. The trial includes the full set of core capabilities: conversations, knowledge base, plans, governance, and proposals.
Through the existing device management. The installer is an MSI, PKG, or DEB package distributed via Intune, Jamf, Ansible, SCCM, or any standard MDM. On install, it authenticates, fetches an encrypted policy, and provisions the complete environment. Groups sync from the identity provider via SCIM.
Yes. Each tier builds on the one below it. Organisations can move up as the rollout grows, from a single-team pilot through to workforce-scale deployment. Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing period.
Yes. Bidirectional sync is available for Jira, Linear, ClickUp, and GitHub via plugins. Tickets created in Swarmix appear in the issue tracker, and changes made in the tracker sync back. Status mapping, routing rules, and sub-task propagation are all configurable.
Slack notifications, webhook integrations for custom workflows, and the full plugin system for extending functionality. Plugins run in full isolation, each with its own database schema and interface. The platform stays intact if any plugin is removed.
